CHRIS DUMBRELL SPORTS THERAPY

CHRIS DUMBRELL SPORTS THERAPY WELCOMES YOU
ABOUT ME
Welcome to my website. Here is just a little bit about myself and my experiences, so you can get to know me . I studied at the university of Chichester for 4 years before qualifying as Sports Therapist MSci. During my time at university, I learnt a wide range of treatment modalities for a variety of differing injuries and conditions. This included soft tissue techniques, sports massage, acute and chronic injury assessment, and injury rehab – just to name a few. Since graduating I have worked with various football clubs providing pitchside first aid and the management of injured players. I have also treated patients in a clinic or in the comfort of their own home, providing rehab for common injuries.
Can Sports Therapy help me?
Sports Therapy, although it sounds like it is mainly for sporty people with sporting injuries, is actually far from the case! A sports therapist is someone that is trained not only in dealing with specific concerns such as an achy shoulder or bad back, but is someone that can help you to get back into movement and physical activities. A sports therapist will provide some coaching points on movement patterns or provide corresponding exercises to help keep you injury free.
If you have been injured or even got a long-standing issue or concern, sports therapy can help you by providing an assessment and diagnosis. This will then lead into an individualised management programme to get you back to feeling fit again.
